Voting in City Council elections is one of the most important things residents can do to improve transportation options in Denton. The Denton City Council makes final decisions on:

  • How much funding goes to each transportation option;

  • How a street will be designed;

  • How each transportation mode is prioritized;

  • Policies that can provide improve safety and access to transportation options or further increase automobile dependency.

To help you determine who most closely aligns with your transportation priorities, Bike Denton sends a questionnaire to candidates each election to learn more about their positions on transportation.

All City Council positions in this election are at large, which means all City of Denton voters will vote on all three positions.
